| ASOR Mourns The Passing Of Norma Kershaw |
ASOR mourns the passing of long-time member, Norma Kershaw, and we share our condolences with the Kershaw family. Norma died peacefully at home yesterday (September 14) at age 95. She was an ASOR member for almost 60 years, a trustee for almost 40, and a passionate supporter of ASOR through her scholarship and generous financial support. She has been the primary supporter of News@ASOR since its inception. A more complete set of remembrances will be included in the next issue of News@ASOR.

| Fieldwork 2021: ASOR Project Directors Zoom Meeting |
The Chair of the Committee on Archaeological Research and Policy, Steve Falconer, is convening ASOR-affiliated archaeological project directors and the directors of ASOR’s affiliated centers (ACOR, AIAR, and CAARI) to discuss fieldwork prospects for 2021. Each Center Director will provide a brief summary of summer 2020 fieldwork in their countries and prospects for summer 2021 fieldwork. While this meeting is designed to help directors discuss the challenges of planning fieldwork in the current environment, we hope that it will be the first in a series of discussions on fieldwork in 2021. The meeting is scheduled for October 1 at 12:00pm EDT. If you are interested in participating in this Zoom meeting, please contact Marta Ostovich (programs@asor.org). Read more . . .
