The duties of the position include the following: maintenance of an editorial office for the journal; solicitation and acquisition of manuscripts suitable for publication; implementation of a peer-review process for the evaluation of manuscripts; collaboration with the managing editor and the ASOR staff; actively promoting the journal online; and editing and proofreading each issue. | ASOR Seeks Volunteers to Serve on Program Committee |

The ASOR Program Committee (PC) is seeking three new members, each to serve one three-year term (2020-22) with the possibility of renewing for a a second term. The PC is responsible for the intellectual content of the Annual Meeting. Specifically, the PC solicits and reviews session proposals and reviews paper abstracts for possible violations of the ASOR Policy on Professional Conduct as needed. The Getty Conservation Institute (GCI) and ASOR are partnering to provide members a valuable one-day workshop on emerging realities in conservation and its integration with archaeology. This event will be held on Sunday, November 24 in San Diego, following the Annual Meeting.
