Call for Nominations for ASOR Vice President
The Officers Nominations Committee solicits nominations for the Vice President of ASOR position for a three-year term, beginning Jan. 1, 2020. Expressions of interest or nominations should be sent by Feb. 15, 2019. The VP’s primary responsibilities will be to chair the Chairs Coordinating Council and serve on the Executive Committee. The VP shall also perform such additional duties as the Board of Trustees, the Executive Committee, the President, or the Board Chair may prescribe. Read More ...
ASOR Program Committee Opening

ASOR’s Program Committee (PC) is responsible for the intellectual content of the Annual Meeting, specifically determining the sessions to be held and the academic schedule. PC members volunteer to serve a term of 3 years (2019-2021) with the possibility of renewing for a second term. The PC currently seeks applications from members with a research focus in Art History. The application form includes further information and can be submitted online. The deadline to apply is February 15.

We are asking all teachers and professors to help us find new Friends of ASOR (FOA). Your students can join FOA for FREE! Friends receive our weekly e-newsletter, The Ancient Near East Today, which offers a range of articles to supplement syllabi and discussions about Near Eastern archaeology. Please print this PDF sign-up sheet to circulate to your classes or share the link to our e-registration page so students can enter their emails: Friends of ASOR Registration.
