Check out the Program at a Glance for a quick look at the 100 sessions and workshops being offered, or view the complete Academic Program to find out when a specific person or paper will be featured. Don’t forgot to look at the schedule of Business Meetings and Special Events to see when a committee is meeting or to find out what receptions are taking place. 2019 Sean W. Dever Memorial Prize - Call for Papers
The W.F. Albright Institute of Archaeological Research in Jerusalem announces the 2019 Sean W. Dever Memorial Prize call for papers. This prize provides $750 for the best article published or paper presented at a conference that treats a topic in the field of Syro-Palestinian or Biblical Archaeology. Authors must be Ph.D. candidates in the semester in which the winner is announced (Spring 2019). They may be of any nationality, but the article or paper must be in English. Submissions must be received no later than December 31, 2018. Read more ...

Call for Nominations for Program Committee
The Program Committee is an ASOR standing committee dedicated to the Academic Program of the Annual Meeting and is led by co-chairs, Geoff Emberling and Helen Dixon. ASOR invites nominations, including self-nominations, from ASOR members to fill a three-year opening on the Program Committee. The new member's research interests should complement those of current Program Committee members. Highly desirable is a committee member with a focus on Cyprus. Nominations should include full name, title, affiliation, e-mail, and a current CV. Please send nominations to Arlene Press by October 31.
