| 2019 Call for Member-Organized Session and Workshop Proposals |
|
Is there a topic you would like to see included on the ASOR academic program? ASOR members are invited to propose new member-organized sessions and workshops for the 2019 ASOR Annual Meeting in San Diego, CA, November 20-23. ASOR members may propose traditional paper sessions around a specific theme or workshops that minimize formal presentations in favor of open discussion. The application form is simple and can be completed online. The deadline to submit proposals is December 15, 2018. Click here for more information and a link to the proposal form. |

| ASOR Standing Session Chair Openings |

ASOR seeks applications from members to fill openings for the following ASOR Annual Meeting Standing Sessions: Archaeology of the Black Sea and Caucasus; Bioarchaeology in the Near East; Gender in the Ancient Near East; and Theoretical and Anthropological Approaches to the Near East. Session Chairs volunteer to serve one term (three years) with the possibility of renewing for a second term. The application is simple and can be completed online.
