The ASOR Office has Moved!
As we reported in the April 3, 2018, issue of News@ASOR, the ASOR Board has decided that ASOR can best support our program goals by relocating to the Washington, D.C. area and purchasing a facility to serve as ASOR’s permanent and independent home. As we execute this move, we are maintaining a temporary office in Boston, and we will have a temporary Boston phone number until late December. That temporary number is (617) 236-0408. Read more …
ASOR Qualifies for $11,200 in Challenge Gifts
Thanks to over 452 people who have made gifts to ASOR this year, we have exceeded our goal of 425 discrete donors for Fiscal Year 2018 (July 1, 2017 – June 30, 2018), which qualifies ASOR for $11,200 in challenge gifts. This is an amazing accomplishment, with almost 100 people making gifts in the last five weeks. Read more ...
Remembrance—Norma Dever—by Joe D. Seger
ASOR is sad to share the news that Norma Dever, a long-time ASOR member and supporter, passed away on June 7, 2018. In the previous issue of News@ASOR, we published a remembrance written by William Dever. In this issue, we share a personal remembrance of Norma written by her life-long friend, Joe Seger.
