| Sharon Herbert Named Distinguished University Professor of Classical Archaeology |
ASOR Vice President, Sharon C. Herbert, was awarded the Charles K. Williams, II Distinguished University Professor of Classical Archaeology honor from University of Michigan. | Request for Proposals for Prepress Work for Near Eastern Archaeology |
ASOR seeks an experienced production person or team for a longstanding quarterly popular publication (Near Eastern Archaeology) in archaeology. Each issue is 8.5 x 11” trim, 64 printed pages + 4 cover pages, two-column text and contains multiple color illustrations and some ads. We occasionally produce issues of 96 pages. Approximately 20 articles are published each year (about 25 if there are several 96-page issues). Expected timetable of 8-10 weeks between receipt of approved manuscript of each issue and delivery to printer. To read more about the available position, click here.
