World Heritage Day Symposium - Twitter Recap
ASOR and AIA, in cooperation with the Smithsonian Institution and The George Washington University Capitol Archaeological Institute, commemorated International Day for Monuments and Sites (also called World Heritage Day) at the Ring Auditorium at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden of the Smithsonian Institution on Monday, April 18th.
ASOR Member Asa Eger Awarded ACLS Fellowship
ASOR member Asa Eger, Associate Professor of History at University of North Carolina at Greensboro, has been awarded a prestigious ACLS Fellowship for 2016-17 to support his project, "Islamic Antioch: A History of a Medieval City from the Fifth to Fifteenth Centuries.” Asa was one of 69 fellows selected from a pool of nearly 1,100 applicants, through a rigorous, multi-stage peer review process. Read more...
Crime and Sexual Offense in Hatti [Podcast]
