| 2014 Annual Meeting: Call for New Member-Organized Sessions & New Workshop |
|
The ASOR Annual Meeting provides a venue for scholars, students, and interested members of the public to come together for three and a half intensive days of academic lectures, poster presentations, business meetings, evening receptions, and general conversation on an array of topics related to the history and archaeology of the Near East. Sessions designated as “ASOR Sessions” are those that cover the broad temporal, regional, and disciplinary areas represented in the ASOR constituency. | New Co-Editors of BASOR |

ASOR is pleased to welcome Eric Cline and Christopher Rollston as the new co-editors of the Bulletin of the American Schools of Oriental Research beginning July 1, 2014. James Weinstein and Larry Herr will continue as co-editors of BASOR through June 30, 2014. Dr. Eric Cline is a Professor of Classics and Anthropology, Chair of the Department of Classical and Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations, and Director of the Capitol Archaeological Institute at The George Washington University, in Washington DC. Christopher Rollston earned his MA and Ph.D. from The Johns Hopkins University in Hebrew Bible and Northwest Semitic Languages and Literatures. Read more... |

There is still time to sign up for ASOR's new webinar series will now take place January 12th rather than December 8th due to technical difficulties. Our first webinar will still be Jerusalem in the Time of David and Solomon, but has been postponed in order to ensure our audience receives the highest quality webinar possible.
