| Eric Meyers & Early Synagogues This Sunday |
It is the last week to register for our next FOA Webinar on December 13 at 7:30pm EST, featuring Dr. Eric Meyers and "Early Synagogues, Jesus, and Galilee—A Jewish Perspective." An expert in Judaic studies, Dr. Meyers will discuss how archaeological work in Galilee over the past generation and a half has demonstrated that this region was overwhelmingly Jewish in the first century BCE and CE. In this lecture, Prof. Eric Meyers will take us on a journey across the Holy Land to discover how Judaism, and its places of worship, have evolved over the centuries. Register and pay here. Price is $5 for ASOR members and $10 for non-members. All proceeds will help ASOR respond to COVID-19 by funding membership scholarships and online resources.

| Update to Excavation Grants & Fellowships for 2021 |
As prospects for fieldwork in 2021 and international travel continue to be impacted by COVID-19, ASOR grants and fellowships will be a little different this year. ASOR seeks to continue to support our members' research through excavation grants. In lieu of excavation fellowships for students, ASOR will be offering Summer Stipends for students to take part in research that does not require international travel. Read more about ASOR grants and student stipends here.
