Virtual Annual Meeting Format: What to Expect
Most academic presentations are pre-recorded and cannot be viewed live during a session. The academic sessions will be discussion only of pre-recorded papers. Only Workshops will have live presentation of research. The following webpage will be your essential guide to understanding the different format of the Virtual Annual Meeting (VAM). More than 300 presentations are already available for you to start watching. Click here for this important VAM information.

2020 Harris Grant: The Wadi el-Hudi Expedition
The Wadi el-Hudi Expedition received a Charles Harris Grant for fieldwork in Egypt's Eastern Desert. Eric Meyers and Early Synagogues on Dec. 13
Register now for our next webinar on December 13 at 7:30pm EST, featuring Dr. Eric Meyers and "Early Synagogues, Jesus, and Galilee—A Jewish Perspective." An expert in Judaic studies, Dr. Meyers will discuss how archaeological work in Galilee over the past generation and a half has demonstrated that this region was overwhelmingly Jewish in the first century BCE and CE. In this lecture, Prof. Eric Meyers will take us on a journey across the Holy Land to discover how Judaism, and its places of worship, have evolved over the centuries. Register and pay here. Price is $5 for ASOR members and $10 for non-members. All proceeds will help ASOR respond to COVID-19 by funding membership scholarships and virtual resources.
